Air Quality to Suspend Issuance of Open Burn Permits Beginning April 28th
Starting April 2nd, Pinal County Air Quality begin issuing only 3-day open burning permits. All permits will expire by May 1st, and Pinal County will suspend the issuance of all open burning permits on April 28th.

- Starting April 2, 2022, Pinal County Air Quality will only issue 3-day burn permits
- Pinal County Air Quality will suspend the issuance of all open burning permits starting April 28, 2022 and continuing until further notice.
- All open burning is prohibited by State law in Apache Junction, Gold Canyon, San Tan Valley, Queen Creek and portions of Florence from May 1 thru September 30.
